According to the analysis of the first three quarters, Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park achieved great results in high-end industry construction. In the near future, high-end industry will be the initial development direction of Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park.

From January to August this year, the total revenue of Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park was 1133.8 billion yuan ($171.2 billion), up by 16.4 percent year on year. The development of high-end industry has been outstanding in the park, accounting for 74.4 percent of the revenue.

Among them, the electronic information industry continues to stay ahead. The advanced manufacturing technology and biomedical industry are the two fastest growing industries in the park.

Strengthen the forward-looking research of industrial development to plan for future industrial layout 

To achieve better results, the science park will strengthen the tracking and monitoring of the leading industries and emerging industries, based on the analysis of industrial development's comprehensive data in the core area of the park.

Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park will also actively carry out the pre-judgment and policy research on the industrial trend of zhongguancun science city to make special analysis on various aspects such as the establishment of technology enterprises, investment and financing merger and acquisition and intellectual property rights.

The park will combine the macroeconomic forecasting model and the analysis of new economic data and industrial data to build the new index system of innovation and development of zhongguancun science city.

Improve key core technologies to build emerging industrial clusters 

From the beginning of this year, Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park has started research on artificial intelligence, intelligent network vehicles, technology roadmap for rail transit and so on, which boosts its industrial development. The park also achieved a lot in different areas of the high-end industries.

In the mobile network and the next generation of Internet industry, Zhongguancun Haidian Science Park is developing rapidly.

Xiaomi launched its first self-developed high-tech chip in the park, making it the fourth enterprise owning both self-researched phones and chips in the world. The park supports the companies such as Baidu and Microsoft to develop AI technology, aiming to drive the industry incubation.

In the area of biological engineering and new pharmaceutical industry, Haidian Science Park has introduced five professional service agencies such as the technical review center. These five agencies will enter 124 companies covering the area of biomedicine, interventional medical devices, gene detection and diagnostic techniques and so on.

In the field of intelligent manufacturing industry, the park released a three-year plan for its intelligence manufacturing innovation center. There are 1059 projects from 543 companies identified as new technologies projects in Haidian district, accounting for half of all the projects.
