The Patent Agency Service Norms, a set of national standards formulated by the State Intellectual Property Office, the All-China Patent Attorneys Association, the Jiangsu province IP Office and a local IP research center, will take effect next year. The new norms will address thorny issues among patent agency service providers and help to improve their services, SIPO officials said.
