The second China Pharma IP Summit will be held in the municipality on Dec 7. IP rights protection in the sector has been attracting growing attention from industry insiders after the China Food and Drug Administration released new policies earlier this year to encourage innovation. The two-day event will discuss such topics as patent term restoration and drug test data protection. It will introduce the latest changes on related patent examination and lawsuit procedures in the United States and some European countries.
