Beijing: Counterfeit books, suspects are seized
The police of Fangshan district recently cracked down on a group that had sold pirated books online, involving a potential illegal value of more than 1 million yuan ($152,700). They raided the group's hideout in a local village, seized two suspects and found more than 29,000 pirated books, most of them education-related. The suspects said they had sold more than 2,000 books since July, gaining 30,000 yuan of illegal profit.
