The city is home to a new animation industry center that is encouraging young creators in innovation and entrepreneurship. Teams are eligible to apply for the event. They must send in their animation creations, derivative products and related advanced technologies as entries. Selected entries and their producers will be funded. The contest will serve as an "accelerator" to help innovative and startup projects to grow, organizers said.
