The news was announced at the robotics industry development forum sponsored by Shenyang’s municipal government and the municipality of Västerås, Sweden in Shenyang on March 20. The event was aimed at boosting industrial communications and cooperation between the two sides, and helping Shenyang establish a complete and coordinated industrial chain for the robotics industry.

Topics including technological innovation, the commercialization of scientific achievements, technician training and intellectual property protection were discussed by experts and scholars.

Shenyang’s municipal government and the municipality of Västerås signed a memorandum of cooperation on the development of the robotics industry at the forum.

In addition, another four projects involving robotic technologies with applications in the medical field and energy storage were agreed at the signing ceremony held the same day.
