During the visit to the Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, the Deputy Mayor of Shanghai municipality Chen Qun investigated and debriefed Lv Guoqiang, who was the director of Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration.

Chen said, "IP is the basic system guarantee to encourage innovation and also key to building fine business environments and enhancing urban core competencies. The Shanghai Administration is supposed to expand international exchanges and cooperation and increase international voices and influences through sticking to the overall work deployment by the Party Committee and Municipal Government as well as standing on the strategy of serving the country.

To ensure that all tasks are finished successfully this year needs comprehensively implementing the IP strategic outline of Shanghai, serving the scientific innovation center and FTA construction, deepening comprehensive management and reforms pilots and accelerating the construction of Shanghai Intellectual Property Rights Trading Center and other organizations. It is urgent to put up with new ideas and measures for next step and continuously enhance the capabilities and levels of the IP work in Shanghai."
