Lu Zhengmin attended the 2018 Japan-China IPR Protection Seminar

On December 13, 2018, Lu Zhengmin, Deputy Head of the Office of National Leading Group on Fight against IPR Infringement and Counterfeiting and Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement Inspection Bureau of the State Administration for Market Regulation attended the “2018 Japan-China IPR Protection Symposium” and delivered a keynote speech. 

From the aspects of top-level design, coordination and equal protection, Lu stressed that the Chinese government attached high importance to the IPR protection work. She briefed the remarkable results achieved by the Chinese government on the fight against IPR infringement and counterfeiting from the perspective of rectification in key fields, regional and inter-department coordination, improvement in the legal system, function of judicial protection and international communication and cooperation. Lu stressed that in the face of new situations and new challenges in the law enforcement supervision, the Chinese government will vigorously strengthen IPR protection work with a resolute position and clear attitude to further promote the global coordinated governance and improve the IPR protection of foreign-invested enterprises. 

The meeting is jointly sponsored by JETRO Beijing Office and IPG. Representatives of the Economic Investigation Bureau of Ministry of Public Security participated in the meeting.
